Nearly 50% of Arlington Public Schools female students in grades 8, 10, and 12 report having been sexually harassed at school. Sexual harassment and assault are happening at school, work, and in the community. Let’s talk about it.
Featured speaker: Jatson Katz, PhD
Jackson Katz, Ph.D., is internationally renowned for his pioneering work to promote gender equality and prevent gender violence. He is co-founder of Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP), one of the longest-running influential prevention programs in North America. His TED talk, “Violence against Women is a Men’s Issue,” has been viewed more than 3 million times. Jackson holds a Masters from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies and Education from UCLA.
