Level 1 Volunteer Toolkit
Volunteers are key members of the Doorways team out in the community, at our administrative offices, and in our shelters. Volunteers can and do train to work in virtually all Doorways programs! Learn more about volunteering at all levels.
Level 1 volunteer opportunities do not require any orientation or training and can be done by any individual or group on a one-time or ongoing basis.

Caring Community
The Caring Community is a group of community members who help fulfill Doorways’ urgent needs for our clients and shelters, mainly personal care and household items. As a member of the Caring Community, we will email you to notify you of our needs as they arise. We do not expect every member to be able to donate every time—that’s the power of community. Together, we can make it happen. See how it works and sign up now.
