What: Register to join us for Embrace Your Voice, an annual poetry share hosted in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM).

When: Thursday, April 11th, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Nannie J. Lee Memorial Recreation Center, 1108 Jefferson St, Alexandria, VA 22314

Who: Co-hosted by the Alexandria Sexual Assault Center, Doorways, and Friends of Guest House

While sexual assault is an important topic, and something we should be aware of and talk about, it is a subject that can raise feelings like sadness and fear, and bring up painful memories.
